The engineer in the proposal delivers the work

Benjamin Asante founded Fortis Data Group to put senior data platform engineering directly in front of the organizations that depend on it, without the layers that usually separate the people who scope the work from the people who deliver it.

His conviction is that most data problems are not modelling problems. They are provenance, quality and governance problems, and they are solved by engineers who have carried a pager for a production estate rather than by a slide deck. Fortis is built around that: the people who scope your work are the people who deliver it, and nothing is promised that we would not be comfortable being paged about at three in the morning.

Benjamin holds Public Trust and Department of Defense Secret clearances concurrently, with production depth in AWS and delivery experience across Azure Government, Oracle Cloud and Google Cloud.

Dr. Maame Tiwaah Frimpong leads business operations at Fortis Data Group, supporting organizational strategy, operational planning, contracting, compliance and the systems required to scale the firm responsibly.

She holds a Master of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, bringing a strong foundation in business strategy, organizational development and growth. Her professional background in medicine adds experience working in complex, high-accountability environments where sound judgment, disciplined execution and clear communication are essential.

At Fortis, Dr. Frimpong applies that perspective to strengthening business operations, coordinating priorities and building the operational foundation that supports reliable client delivery and sustainable growth.

John David leads the Business Intelligence and Analytics capability at Fortis Data Group, covering enterprise BI architecture, reporting and visualization, semantic models, analytics consumption and BI platform strategy.

He brings twelve years in business intelligence and data visualization across federal and commercial organizations, including administering an enterprise Tableau Server estate supporting 600 licensed users, and building reporting across Tableau, Power BI and Oracle with SQL and Python behind it. He leads BI teams and works directly with executives and business owners, which is what keeps analytics tied to decisions rather than to dashboards.

John holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Data Analytics Engineering. He is a Certified Tableau Consultant, Certified Tableau Data Analyst and Certified Tableau Server Associate. He also serves in the United States Army Reserve.

Euris Santana leads the Cloud and Infrastructure Engineering capability at Fortis Data Group, owning how infrastructure is designed, secured and operated across federal and commercial engagements.

He brings nearly a decade of building and running enterprise infrastructure in environments where downtime carries a cost, spanning secure government cloud, network architecture, identity and enterprise systems. His focus is infrastructure that holds up under audit and under load, delivered as code rather than configured by hand.

Euris holds AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, Cisco CCNA and CompTIA Security+ certifications.

Kwaku Yeboah-Asuamah leads the Security and Compliance capability at Fortis Data Group, owning how compliance posture is assessed, evidenced and defended across client engagements.

His work is audit readiness at the executive level. Scope and control ownership, evidence quality, remediation priority, and the reporting that turns a technical control gap into a decision a leadership team can act on. He works across PCI DSS, CIS Controls and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and SP 800-53, in environments where an assessment finding carries commercial consequences.

His view is that compliance is an operating discipline rather than a document produced before an audit. Evidence that is a byproduct of how a team works holds up. Evidence assembled the week before does not.

Fortis engages vetted subject matter experts when an engagement requires expertise beyond the core team, including cloud infrastructure, AI and GenAI, platform engineering, data platforms, security and compliance engineering, analytics, and delivery management. All are United States persons, contracted and insured through Fortis, and identified to the client before work begins.

Named delivery staff are confirmed in writing as part of the engagement scope.
